Maia Smyl

Maia Smyl is a competitive dancer and aerialist from Florida. She considers it a huge blessing to be able to train in both disciplines at New Level Dance Company. Early in 2022, she competed both Silks and Lyra (Hoop) routines in three (3) International Aerial competitions where she received Top 3 placements and she is now the 2022 Aerialympics Jr. National Silks Winner.

Over the years, it has been her honor to have received various dance Titles, Awards and Top placings. She is proud to have earned the highest adjudication at each presentation of her solos for the season 2021-2022. In July 2022, Maia is proud to have been selected as the Tremaine Junior Dancer of The Year and beyond excited to tour this year1

Along with this, Maia continues to maintain her status as a Honor level Student. In her free time, like many PreTeens you can find her browsing Reels. She is obsessed with Life Hacks and 5 min crafts on TikTok. She also loves trying new sports. This summer, it’s tennis! Maia is proud to be an AS Mentee for another year and loved working with Ms Alison and all of her other sisters!
